Holla!
As you can probably guess from the title, today I'll show you how to make your own studded sweatshirt or any kind of clothing that you may want to give a little bit more of a modern look. It's a really good idea to give a new life to some items of clothing you maybe haven't wore for a long time or you're bored of.
Firstly, you need to gather all the resources that you'll need to help you. A piece of clothing you want to stud (in my case, it's my grey sweatshirt), a ruler, pair of scissors (or anything that's sharp enough to easily make a hole), pen, studs (I got my of ebay - Buy Here) I will also be using a crew driver to help to attach the studs to the material.
Once you have organised all the materials needed. Using a ruler try to mark with a pen where you want the studs to be, so it's easier for you to place them.
Repeat this step as many times as needed, depending on the amount of studs you want to have on your item. Once this step is finished, get one of the studs and place it on one of the dots you have marked with your pen.
Turn it on the other side, firmly holding the stud.
Then, get a pair of scissors. Holding the stud make a hole in the material (make sure you're holding the stud really well so it doesn't move and it's placed where you want it to be).
Once you made the whole in the material, get the other part of the stud (the screw) and place it so it goes inside the stud. Using your fingers or a screw driver screw it in. So the stud is attached to the material.
And it's done!
Repeat this process as many times as you wish to.
Make sure to space the studs so they are equally spread and there is a same distance between them.
Taaadaaah!
Hope you found this tutorial helpful guys! If you have any questions or you need any help just let me know.
