I'm not exactly on time with my May favourite as we're nearly half way through the month, but it's because I was hesitating a little bit whether it's worth the hassle to bore you with this post this month. I haven't done any favourites before so I decided to bite the bullet and just go for it. At the end of the day it is an amazing opportunity for you to find out about new products you might find appealing to you or your friends, brothers, boyfriends - anyone.
Studded T-shirt
Without any doubt my favourite piece of clothing this month is my black studded t-shirt. Probably one of the reasons why I like it so much is because I have studded it myself and I was very proud of it because it was very time consuming, stressful and laborious. I had a lot of compliments from people saying how cool my t-shirt is which made me very happy (must mean I did a good job then eh?). I have also managed to saved up a lot money on it. Because TopMan was selling one for £25 where as my t-shirt cost me £2.50 and I already had some studs. So pretty damn good deal if you as me!
Tie-dye Shorts
When I saw these in TopMan there was no questions or any doubt about them. By now everyone knows my tie-dye obsession. I haven't came across a pair of shorts like that before, I thought they were incredibly cool and I know they will be a very staple piece in my wardrobe this summer.
Nike Vortex
I've been looking for a different pair of Nike trainers for a while now, and since everyone has jumped on the bandwagon boring me with Blazers and Air Maxes I wanted something different. I love the way they look, they are so sleek and simple and on top of that super comfortable to wear. What else could you ask for?
Primark Sunglasses
Even thought it may not look like it, it is summer and what else could be more exciting than holiday shopping? While visiting Primark I stumbled across the sunglasses stand and I was very kindly surprised what the store had to offer, they have a very wide selection of sunnies at amazing prices starting from £2. I picked two pairs and I am in love with them, will definitely be going back for more!
The Fault In Our Stars
I purchased this book at the beginning of May because I have heard a lot of good reviews and it has also been recommend to me by one of my friends so I decided to give it a go. I didn't really know what to expect from it after reading the brief description, but I was amazed by it! I love the plot and the message it carries, I'm not going to talk a lot about it, because I don't want to spoil it for any of you who are planning on reading it. It has made me think a lot about my life, and how blessed I am to be healthy and live the life that I live. John Green is an amazing writer and I'm currently waiting on another book of his to arrive!
Grilled Chicken Katsu Curry
This month me and one of my best friends have visited Wagamama for the very first time! I was overly excited to finally visit this place because I have never been before and I've heard so many good things about it. And I am a massive fan of Chinese and Japanese dishes. I decided to go for Grilled Chicken Katsu Curry and I think I ended up in heaven. It was amazing, perfectly prepared and served very nicely. I kind of struggled and incredibly failed at using chopsticks so I had to switch to knife and fork haha but overall I loved it and I will definitely be visiting Wagamama soon.
