BEYONCE CONCERT * VLOG * FEBRUARY 21 2014

Hey guys! I know, I know. I was absent for quite a long time but I'm back! I also started a Youtube channel so hopefully you will also see more videos on here too.

The other day me and my friend went to see Beyonce live in Glasgow and we had a wee attempt at vlogging it. It's my first ever attempt at vlogging and editing, also my camera turned out not to be the best camera for vlogging either so I do apologise for the quality in advance.

Still thought it'd be cool to share it with you, so I hope you like it!

Let me know what you think in the comments!

Caseapp.co.uk iPhone Case: Review

Holla!

As I mentioned last week (check here) I have ordered my first ever case from caseapp.co.uk. Since it has finally arrived I decided to write a review. The phone case got delivered very quickly. Since I've been using it  for few days now I decided to write a review on it and tell you guys what I think about it.

For those who don't know, CaseApp is a Swedish company which specializes in producing customized iPhone cases for iPhone 4/4S and 5. They produce cases for individuals as well as carry out group orders for those who want to order in larger quantities.
From the very start, when I went on their website I was very kindly surprised. The company's website is designed very well, making it really easy to navigate. For me, personally it's very important to be able to use the website with ease without any troubles, and receive the whole 'online shopping experience'.

When you're starting to create your case you get the chance to select from different colours of the sides of the case. You get to chose from white, black, light pink, dark pink, cyan blue or transparent. Which I thought is really cool as you get the chance to make the case even more of 'your own one'. I went for black, because I thought it will go very well with the colours on my case and my iPhone is black as well. If you wish to you can also add text to your case and preview any changes you make to see how the case will look in the actual life.

The case its self is really well made. The product is very high quality, plastic is very strong so even if you drop your phone the case doesn't break (previously I have broke so many cases, because I dropped my phone and they have snapped) the print is also incredibly well applied which makes the case look as it's a really good quality as well and it is. Also what I have noticed about this case is that the back of the case is matte so the image doesn't scratch when you put your phone on the surface.

The design of the case is also really well thought out. The places that needs to be accessed such as volume buttons, speakers, microphone and camera are really easy to get as the plastic is perfectly cut out not getting in the way. I thought I would mention that as well, as previously when I have purchased some of the cases the design wasn't really thought out by the designers and it was really hard to get to the volume buttons or the plastic was overlapping with the camera which was really annoying and making the case practically unable to use, because I had to take it off all the time. However CaseApp have clearly thought about that and didn't disappoint their customers.

So overall I love my personalized case from CaseApp. Their website is really easy to use, the product is a really good quality and the delivery was really fast as well. I will definitely be purchasing more cases from them soon.

Thank you CaseApp!

Liebster Award!

Holla!

I've seen a lot of bloggers being nominated for Liebster Award to find out I have also been nominated by Hannah from Trust in Vogue  who I want to thank very much for nominating me. It really does mean a lot. I know, I only just started and only have just a few followers, but it really puts on a smile on my face knowing that people appreciate what I do, especially when I'm doing something I truly enjoy.
For those who are unaware, the Liebster Award helps to improve other bloggers' reputation and raise the awareness of the blog if they have under 200 followers, which is an amazing way and an opportunity for every blogger to shine and let their readers find out a little bit more about them selves.

The Rules

- Answer 11 random facts about yourself

- Answer 11 questions from the person that nominated you

- Nominate new blogs (of course, with under 200 followers)
- Make 11 new questions for them to answer

Random Facts About Me
1. I. LOVE. FASHION - you have probably already guessed that though.
2. I love meeting new people and making friends. You can never have too many friends, these are the people who make your life worth while.
3. I am an Apple freak - iPhone, iPad and Mac addict.
4. I'm very outgoing. Can't stay at home for too long, or I will end up doing stupid, pointless things.
5. I tweet and instagram a lot!
6. I care about my hair probably more than anyone else.
7. I'm very tanned - whenever I meet/speak to someone new they think I'm Spanish/Italian.
8. Nicki Minaj and Rihanna are the best.
9. I don't like sleeping - such a waste of time. I could be doing something more productive than that, right?
10. I basically live of Chinese food. Chicken Curry for the win.
11. I'm not afraid to take risks in life. If you don't take a risk, you'll never know what could have happened.

Hannah's Questions:
1. What's your biggest fear?
I'm not scared of anything really, because I like to challenge myself. The only fear for me is a fear of a failure.
2. What's your lifetime ambition?
I would LOVE to travel around the world. There is so many places that I want to visit.
3. Where do you see yourself in 5/10 years time?
Hopefully graduating from university, travel for a year, move out to London/Florida and start my career.
4. Chocolate or Sweets?
Sweet.
5. If you had to take an object with you to a deserted island, what would you take?
Possibly impossible for me just to pick one, but if I really have to I'll go with my iPhone!
6. If you had the opportunity to claim lots of money but lose your blog, would you do it?
No. So far the thing I learnt in life is that money doesn't bring happiness. Whereas doing what you love does. Therefore no way!
7. Who inspires you?
As weird as it may sound it has to be my parents that inspire me the most. They have taught me so many great things in life and I am incredibly grateful to them for that.
8. Do you prefer Summer or Winter?
It's all about Summer!
9. What's one item of clothing you can't live without?
Denim jacket.
10. Would you rather be famous, or the best friend of someone famous?
Best friend of someone famous, being famous is so much hassle. No privacy what so ever.
11. If you could, would you go the past to see your ancestors, or would you travel to the future?
Go back to the past. I can always wait for the future and see what it brings. If I knew what would happen life would be boring, so I'd rather know what I was up to before! Haha.

My Questions:
1. Describe yourself in 3 words.
2. What is your biggest 'Pet Peeve'?
3. From 1 - 10 (1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest) how important is fashion to you?
4. What are your plans for the future?
5. Favourite place to go on holidays?
6. Dogs or Cats?
7. What is your favourite thing to blog about and why?
8. Why did you decide to start writing a blog?
9. Who is your favourite celebrity?
10. What is your favourite perfume/aftershave?
11. Who is the person you can always rely on ?

Once again thank you to Hannah for nominating me, I really did enjoy answering all the questions!

The blogs that I'm nominating, as I believe they have so much potential are:

Zayn Malik Hairstyle Tutorial

Holla!

Today I thought I will do something different and something I haven't done yet, a hair tutorial!
I decided to do the hair tutorial based on Zayn Malik's hair style, simply because my hair cut is really similar to his. The only difference is that my hair are just a little bit longer at the sides than his.

To achieve this hair style you will need is a
- Tail comb
- Brush
- Hair Dryer
- Hair Spray
- Texturising Gum

Step 1.
Once you wash your hair using your usual products dry it a little bit with a towel, but not too much leaving it mid dry. At this stage divide your hair into two different parts ( as shown down below ).

Step 2.
When your hair is divided, start drying it with a hair dryer ( make sure to use a heat protection before so you don't damage your hair ). When you're drying your hair try to keep it in two different parts. The best way to do it is to try and holding the hair with a comb and dry the sides first. Once your sides are dry, start drying the top and your fringe by trying to form it up wards. Using a brush, comb or your hands to slightly curl the fringe to the back to achieve this look.

Step 3.
When your hair are dry and you're happy with the result apply hair spray to keep your hair in the same place so you don't lose what you have already achieved.
Once you applied the hair spray wait few minutes till the hair are dry again or use a hair dryer to speed up the process. When your hair are dry get about two fingers of texturising gum and start rubbing it in your hair forming it upwards and to the back giving it some shape and texture.

Step 4.
Once you're finished applying the texturing gum apply some more hair spray to make sure everything stays at the same place and you're done :).
TAAAADAAAH!

Favourite shops

Holla everyone!

We all have those shops that we absolutely love and could live in and the one that we try to avoid. So I thought I'd share with you the ones I like myself. The ones that are relevantly cheap to suit every pocket rather than the high end, pricey shops. As well as the ones I can always rely on and where I always find something for myself if I have/want to and they don't disappoint me. As most you have probably already noticed that I am an absolute fashion freak and I visit a lot of shops. Most of the shops I visit tend to be a fashion retailers you will find in your city on every high street (if you're from UK).

1. Number one and my all time favourite is River Island - one of the most successful companies on the High Street with nearly 300 stores across the UK, Ireland and Europe. Also known for its stylish and affordable fashion clothes for women, men and children and the unique touches they bring to their collections. Which makes the company standout from the rest of the High Street retailers. The only down side is that they don't do student discount.

2. The second, really trendy and fashionable shop is Top Man - company's main product offerings are fashionable men's clothing, covering everything from men's formal suits to informal indie-rock-influenced casual-styling ranges, along with footwear and fashion accessories.

3. Third shop which I can always rely on is Republic - The company is positioned in the mass sector of the clothing market, and has a focus on young fashion. They stock lines from casual brands as well as their own brands.

Republic-clothing-logo-design.jpg

4. Forth shop, where I don't shop as often and as much as I used to but where I can always go and still find the basic products which I need is H&M - is a Swedish multinational retail-clothing company, which exists in 43 countries. Known for its fast - fashion clothing for men, women, teenagers and children.

There is obviously a lot more shops where I shops and buy clothes from, but these are definitely the main ones you can check out their websites and hopefully find something for yourselves too. Hopefully this also gives you idea what kind of clothes I buy and wear.

OOTD

Holla! This evening I'm away for a meal to Frankie & Benny's with my friends, so I thought I'd do a quick outfit of the day before I leave. It's pretty wet outside today, but its not that cold so I thought I'll get rid of the winter clothes. I went for the more casual and 'military' look. I like to stay comfy and feel good in my clothes. On the photos I'm wearing a navy zip up hoodie with patches on shoulders and elbows from Burton (£28), T-shirt with cross print from River Island (£10 from the summer sale), jeans from Zara which I wrote about in my review in my previous post (£25), boots from River Island which I got last year (£60)and Khaki hooded Parka from New Look (£39.99). Hope everyone enjoys their weekend and this post. If you have any questions or suggestions please leave them in the comments down below.
