T-Shirts Hype

Hello y'all

After spending endless hours on-line shopping and going through various websites, comparing what each store has to offer I noticed that lately t-shirts are getting more and more interesting. I mean we all love a tee, who doesn't like a good comfy t-shirt just to put on and chill, but usually you really had to try hard to find a nice t-shirt that would easily draw others' attention. Well, not any longer this season apart from the massive tie-dye/dip dye trends fashion designers went one step futher and surprised us with variety of bold, colourful, bright with a lot of different patterns tees.

I thought I'd share with you a few I would like to purchase myself.

What do you think of the new spin on the tees? What one is your favourite?

Week In Photos No.18

Hello y'all!

The past few weeks have been really good, so far so good. A really good start to the summer, I spent most of the week spending a quality time with my family and friends, it's been amazing. Lately I've been in a very good mood, I always try to be positive and look on the bright side of everything, but sometimes it's hard. Since I've finished uni it's been great, I've been happy and motivated doing something I love (I'm so cheesy I know. I'm sorry!)

Things are really good. I hope you all are well too.

With my bestie, Jennifer on Saturday / I always crave watermelons in the summer / DIY'ed my jeans - cut them into shorts / I was rather happy with the result of my macaroni cheese / Finished 'The Fault In Our Stars'. An amazing book / McDonald's smoothie - the worst thing I have ever tasted / A quote from TFIOS / Pub Golf with my friends on Friday / Baking with my mum.

P.S During the week I've made a long awaited YouTube channel. I wasn't really sure about it, but I thought I'd give it a go. I don't have any videos uploaded yet but I would be very grateful if you could subscribe. Watch out for an up coming video very soon :)

How I Style: Tie Dye Tee

Hey y'all
My tie dye obsession seems to be getting worse and worse (as if you haven't noticed). Therefore this time I thought I'd do a quick post on how I would wear one of them. They are great summer pieces to add to your wardrobe, very colourful and super easy to mix it up with literally anything as they have so many colours. If you still don't own a tie dye t-shirt which are an absolute hit this spring/summer, you can pick them mostly everywhere. Primark, TopMan etc. if you fancy being more creative you can also make one yourself.

Let me know what you think of this outfit and the tie dye obsession this season in the comments down below.

Worldwide Wardrobe 2013

Hey y'all!

Travel Supermarket is holding a contest 'Worldwide Wardrobe' giving you the chance of winning £200 to buy your winning outfit AND a trip to the destination that your outfit was most suitable for. Crazy, isn't it? Imagine getting the chance of going to Ibiza, Paris, New York or London? It's like dreams coming true. All you have to do is create an outfit of your own choice which you think will be the most suitable for each destination and explain why. If you want to you can only create an outfit for one of the destinations or all five, it's all up to you.

Secondly, you have to pick 5 blogger who you think will be up for the challenge. I'm nominating:

Kirsten from SPRFRK
Natalie from An Odd Girl
Sammie from Beauty Crush

If you fancy, you can enter the competition HERE

TOTAL - £114.99

When you're somewhere warm and most of the time you will spend partying you want to feel comfortable in what you're wearing and at the same time you obviously want to look fashionable. That's why I went for a tie dye tee which is a massive trend this season, to keep me cool and comfy but at the same time it will look super cool and trendy. I paired it up with dark denim shorts as I love denim shorts. I feel good in them and they are a basic piece in my wardrobe for summer. Because the t-shirt is very bright and colourful I decided to go for a dark denim to create a balance between the colours. This colourful tee gives you a lot of different possibilities, due to a lot of colours you can play around with the whole outfit and mix it with a lot of different colours. Thats why I decided to go for red vans to underline the whole outfit and give it a finishing look by choosing a darker colour. For accessories I picked a pair of sunnies which are essential for me in the summer, especially when you're in Ibiza right? And a set of bracelets with different shades of brown and red which go really well with the whole outfit and the shoes.

TOTAL - £199.99

While you're visiting Paris you must be prepared for the heat, large crowds, walking long distances and streets full of people who put fashion in front of everything else. That's why I decided to put my own spin on this look, to stand out from the crowd and be noticed for what I'm wearing. Dungarees, without a doubt will grab others attention, they add a different dimension to the outfit and at the same time look trendy and you feel comfortable wearing them. I decided to go for more casual look, as you will be walking long distances. I pared up the plain dungarees with a busy pattern tee which goes perfectly with them and a straw hat to protect my head from the sun and at the same time creating a funky, fashionable look. Spending all days walking you want to pick a pair of comfy shoes that you know they won't kill your feel, that's why I picked a pair of white converse. They go really well with the light denim dungarees, t-shirt and the hat. In my opinion creating a perfect outfit for sightseeing in Paris. I also added a big brown bag to break the colours and create a bit of a contrast between the light and pastel colours, which adds more life to the outfit. Of course I also included a pair of sunnies, I decided to go for a black pair because black sunnies are more classic and easy to pair with anything.

TOTAL - £172.94

Going for cocktails in New York you want to look stylish. I picked this yellow blazer and paired it with a pair of simple black jeans. This season is all about bright and bold colours, pairing this blazer with black jeans creates a huge contrast. You will look stylish and trendy. Fashion is about taking risks, not being afraid to mix colours and be bold. Therefore I think this blazer is a perfect if you want to impress someone with your style and show that you're not scared of fashion and bright colours. To tone the outfit down I paired the bright blazer with a calm, toned pastel shirt. I think it's a perfect composition as it tones down the brightness and matches perfectly with the jacket. Adding a pair of brown and navy boat shoes and finishing the look with a gold watch and brown sunnies you are ready to turn heads and rock in New York!

TOTAL - £159.24

As I mentioned before spring and summer 2013 is about not being afraid to mix colours and contrasts. That's why this outfit is featuring a black and white theme. To make it more interesting I chose a pair of light, ripped jeans from Asos. I decided to go for them to break the contrast between the black and white and I also think it makes the outfit a lot more interesting. Also when you're shopping in busy London it's all about the comfort and I feel most comfortable in jeans. Pairing the jeans up with white Homies sweatshirt and a black beanie and Nikes creates a massive contrast and that's what I love about this outfit. It's simple but trendy and at the same time super comfy. Because what's better than a baggy, soft sweatshirt and a pair of trainers? To finish this outfit off I decided to add this funky, gold, studded necklace. I think it goes really well with the theme and adds more colour and different dimension to this 'street' look.

Which look is your favourite? I would love to find out!
Good luck to everyone who entered the competition :)

Mini Haul

Hey y'all!

Today, I have for you my very first haul! WOOP WOOP! Erm... is it just me who's that excited? Yeah... probably, awkies! Oh well, anyway I went shopping few times last month and this month and I picked up few items so I thought I would share them with yah. So here they are!

POLKA DOT SHORT SLEEVE SHIRT - Primark

I am an absolute shirts lover, no a month goes by when I don't treat myself to a new shirt ( or two ). Quiet surprisingly I also love the shirts in Primark... they are very affordable, trendy and really cool. They also have a lot of different styles and patterns. Maybe not the best quality, but come on, where else am I gonna get a shirt for £7? BARGAIN!

I'm in love with this shirt, it's short sleeved, which is perfect for summer, and I just love the pattern on it. So if you're a fan of shirts like me or you're looking for a new shirt I would recommend checking Primark!

This is another shirt I picked up from Primark. I love the colors on it. When I look at it, it just makes me think of summer and just makes me happy. Patterns and bright colors are in right now as well, so if you're looking for a trendy/summery shirt this is perfect option.

BLACK TEE - Primark

Yup, another item from Primark. This one however was customized by me! I did a little DIY on it. I went to Top Man and I found this perfect black, studded tee there. However the price was really steep. I wasn't prepared to pay £20 for a simple black tee! CRAZY RIGHT? So I decided to purchase a simple black tee for £2.50 from Primark and add the studs myself. (If you're wondering how to DIY your tee check our my tutorial HERE)

NEW YORK T-SHIRT - Top Man

While I was in Top Man, and even though I managed to stop myself from buying the black studded tee I couldn't contain myself from buying this one! I love this tee, it's very comfy, and loose fit and fits me perfectly. LOVE IT!

COCAINE & CAVIAR - eBay

Yup, i did follow the crowd and ended up getting yet again another tee. I'm not a big fan of slogan tees, but I found this one very interesting and different. I just feel like I can style it in many different ways and wear it with literally anything. If you would like me to show you how I style this tee let me know in the comments down below :).

NIKE TRAINERS - Nike

I basically shouldn't be allowed anywhere near shoes... because this is getting ridiculous. BUT HOW could I have possible NOT got these beauties? Especially when they were only £35, I mean COME ON? I love them, I'm not really a fan on red, but I love blue and I just thought the colors in this pair worked really well! I wear jeans a lot and I feel like these shoes will go with any jeans I put on.

So that's it for today. I hope you enjoyed this haul and I shall do another, bigger one soon! I wasn't really sure how to show you the products because I don't think they are looking the best on the hangers, but I literally gave up on my tripod, so I wasn't even going to attempt take takes of me wearing these items. I hope you don't mind them being presented like that and you like them.

Also, be sure to let me know in the comments what you think about all these items! I's dyeing to hear your opinions!

Until next time!

FREEDOM

Hey y'all!

Oh my goshhhhh! It's been a loooong time since I could just sit down, relax, enjoy my life and focus on what I enjoy doing the most (which is obviously blogging and watching YouTube videos). Yup, so first year of university is over... scary right? I remember like it was yesterday starting uni and now the first year came to an end. I don't know how I really feel about uni anymore. I'm not sure if it's for me and if I like my course (Meeh!). But anyways, lets not talk about it, because it's all boring stuff.

Right now my I'm dedicating myself to blogging, I have 5 months, 5 MONTHS of Summer holidays OH EM GEE. I don't even KNOOOOOOOW what I'm going to do with all the spare time. I obviously have few holidays planned etc. but apart from that I'll just be blogging, blogging and blogging. I always think about my blog, what I can do to make it a little bit different and just in general more exciting. Because I want you guys to enjoy what I do as much as I enjoy doing it, so I always try to improve and give it 100%. Therefore I have already planned few things for my blog. I'd like to try and take more photos of the outfits of the day and show you guys more photos how I style and wear different thing. Right now I don't feel like I've been doing it enough. Simply because I don't really have where to take the photos or anyone to take the photos for me. I love photography and I've been trying to take photos using tripod but to take good photographs on a tripod is possibly IMPOSSIBLE MAN and as you know I like to do my best in everything that I do, therefor I want my photos to look good. So I'm not sure how I'm going to resolve this problem but hopefully I will come up with something!

Also, lately I have been thinking a lot about starting a YouTube channel. WAAH! I love watching videos on YouTube. This is literally what I do everyday, no a day goes by without me watching  video. And I always had in mind starting a YouTube channel, I just didn't know what I'm going to be ready for it. I feel like videos are a lot more personal than blogs. Don't get me wrong I love blogging and I will continue to blog, I just find videos a lot more personal and interesting. You get the chance to see the person, you get to know them a lot better, you can see their personality... ah I just love it. It's so cool. But I'm not sure if I'm ready. I don't know why, but I'm too scared of what other people will think of me, everyone these days is so opinionated and it's something I really don't like and something I'm afraid of. I also don't have the right equipment, I do have a good camera but I need to get a Mac Book to edit the videos, because if I'm going to make videos I want them to be good! So hopefully this or next week I will have my Mac Book and I can start shooting my videos.

This is it for today people. I'm really sorry, this is a really long and boring post. Most of you probably won't bother reading it, but I just felt like because of uni I wasn't able to dedicate enough of my time to my blog I just felt like updating you on few things. So yeah, I hope you're all well and I watch out for a new - fashion related post tomorrow!!

Me being me - super cheese ball, because exams are over.

May'13 Wishist

Holla!

As we're in May it's time for a new wishlist. There is not a lot this month that I would like to get apart from few funky tees, a couple pairs of shorts and this white HOMIES sweatshirt which I'm absolutely in love with. I just think it's such a statement piece, since it's white and back it will also go with everything. As you can probably see a little pattern here, this month I went for the black and white theme. I don't really have a lot of black clothes so I decided to fill my wardrobe with few basics.

What would you like to purchase this month? I would love to find out, let me know in the comments down below :)
